Alan Alda will appear in an episode of The Big C’s upcoming second season, Showtime announced Monday.
The five-time Emmy winner, 75, will scrub in as Dr. Atticus Sherman, an oncologist whom Cathy (Laura Linney) meets with after her previous treatment failed.
